This is stunning! The color is so soft and perfect... did this with colored pencil? I'm green with envy, my dear! Her expression is almost bitersweet...not quite sad, but a hint of a knowing smile tinged with sadness.
Wonderful work!
I use Prismacolor pencils and I've found that, with the exception of a few certain colors, they blend very well. You just have to find a "threshold" color to use as blender OR you can buy a colorless blender pencil! I have yet to get one myself, but it looks mighty handy. )

Thank you, pretty lady! Yes, it's all Prismacolor. I was just telling another friend that the key is finding a "threshold" color that you can use as blender. Plus, they sell a colorless blender pencil for that purpose. I have yet to try it!

I've actually tried that blender pencil, as I'm a prismacolor junkie myself...I saw it one day and said "wtf is THIS?" I tried it, but didn't really like it that much. I guess I prefer blending the old fashioned way.
But your arm must have fallen off from doing all that color!
It did! Five whole times! Plus two half times when I caught it before it came off! It was awful! The other villagers reviled me! I got stoned and then I DIED! Twice!
So the blender pencil wasnt so great? Hmm. Too waxy looking?

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
